My Edward II Study Day at Sutton Hoo

This coming Saturday I'm giving a study day about Edward II at the Wuffing Education Centre at Sutton Hoo - please do come! Details here: http://wuffingeducation.co.uk/events/2017b/king-edward-ii/ This is a very short post as Blogger is playing up and being incredibly annoying. I won't be around much for a couple of weeks, and the next post will be in early July! All the best!

  1. I wish I could make it but it's just not possible. I look forward to your posts about it!

  2. I would be there but alas: I'm stuck further up north, in Finland. One of these days I win in lottery and we'll create a whole seminar weekend around this blog, Edward II and Kathryn will be The Expert. Rest of us will be listening the stories and details and what have you in silence. And appreciate it.

  3. Again, to add to the above , I cannot make the meeting, but wish you luck, it'll be great. I so look forward to the next post. As I have said before I meet a few people who are still fixated that Edward died in 1327 and I've told them to look at this blog and read your forthcoming book (but have said I don't think his death or survival will be proved either way now), however I do believe he survived and escaped to Italy. I have also pointed out to them that it is a great shame to concentrate on the 'death myth' but to read about life in his time and discover the fascinating era he lived in. Amanda
